About
Raised near salt air and fir trees, Tristan moved to Japan after a month-long assignment in 2019 turned into a permanent thing. Tokyo’s rhythm—electric one minute, hushed the next—fit the way he likes to work. The camera is an excuse to pay attention.
Philosophy
Images should feel inevitable. Not staged, not stolen. Just the right angle at the right time, with care in the margins: a collar straightened, a plant moved, a chair turned five degrees. The goal is texture you can hear.

Working With Tristan
